Smart Lockers

Can’t make it to the library to pick up your holds during normal business hours? MCL now has contactless smart lockers outside the library that give you the ability to pick up your holds 24 hours a day, seven days a week– Any time it’s convenient for YOU!

The lockers are easy to use and the whole process only takes a few seconds:

1. Place a hold on a library item with your CAFE library card.
2. When placing your hold, you have the option to choose which library in the Bridges Library System to pick it up from. A new option is now available: “Mukwonago Locker Pickup.” Choose that option.
3. When your holds becomes available, they will be sent to the Mukwonago Community Library to be checked out to your account by library staff. The items are then placed in the lockers located outside the library.
4. You will then be notified by email or text message that your items are available (this will also include an access code).
5. Once that access code is entered or scanned into the screen on the smart lockers, one of the 17 lockers will pop open to reveal your library items.
6. Grab your items, close the locker door, and be on your way!
