Winter Reading Challenge: Now through Jan. 26th

Warm up those cold winter days and nights with a great book and enter MCL’s Winter Reading Challenge for a chance to win prizes! Simply sign-up at the front desk and start reading! For kids, teens, and grownups.

Armchair Travel to France: Jan. 16th @ 6 pm

Travel through Paris, the Loire Valley, and southern France with Heleene Green, owner of Green’s Friendship Farm. Hear Heleen’s experiences living in France and learning the fine art of raising goats and producing artisan goat cheese. Enjoy samples of cheese and her aromatic goat-milk soaps.

Storytime w/ Miss New Berlin, Jamie Watkins: Jan. 17th @ 10 am

Join us for a very special storytime as 2018 Miss New Berlin, Jamie Watkins, shares a few of her favorite books with the kids. Families invited.

Author Talk – “The Great War Comes to Wisconsin”: Jan. 28th @ 6 pm

Join author and historian Dr. Richard Pifer as he examines Wisconsin’s response to WWI, and his book, “The Great War Comes to Wisconsin.” Discover how the home front experience illuminates the meanings of patriotism and the ways in which patriotic fervor impacted the people of our state.
