Apollo 11 Anniversary Celebration: Feb. 19th @ 6 pm

Join Park View Middle School educator Kellie Arenz as she shares stories of Apollo 11’s mission to the moon 50 years ago. There will be actual lunar rocks, meteorites, and Apollo artifacts to explore. Everyone is invited.

Free Hearing Screenings: Feb. 27th, 12 – 3 p.m.

Betty Brinn Children’s Museum Passes!

That’s right, the library now has two passes to the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum that you can check out! Each pass admits up to 6 people and includes discounted parking.

Author Talk – “The Great War Comes to Wisconsin”: Feb. 28th @ 6 pm

Join author and historian Dr. Richard Pifer as he examines Wisconsin’s response to WWI, and his book, “The Great War Comes to Wisconsin.” Discover how the home front experience illuminates the meanings of patriotism and the ways in which patriotic fervor impacted the people of our state.

Jessica Michna as Golda Meir: March 13th @ 6 pm

How does a girl born in the Ukraine and raised in Milwaukee travel a path that will lead her to become Prime Minister of Israel? This informative, entertaining program, developed by Jessica Michna, explores that rather circuitous route.
