Documentary Film– “The Biggest Little Farm”: Nov. 20th @ 6 pm

A testament to the immense complexity of nature, this award-winning documentary follows two dreamers and a dog on an odyssey to bring harmony to both their lives and the land. Everyone is invited.

Seed Saving 101: Nov. 21st @ 6 pm

Learn the basics of seed-saving with Kathy from Mukwonago’s Thomas Greenhouse and Gardens. Kathy will discuss the benefits of seed saving, plant selection and preparation techniques, and how to gather, clean, process, and store different types of seeds.

Purple Springs Memory Cafe: Nov. 21st, 9:30 am – 11 am

The Purple Springs Memory Cafe is an informal social gathering intended for those living with early-stage memory loss and their care-partner. The Baboushka Babes will lead a fun and interactive sing-along and bring to life popular tunes from the past. A seasonal craft will follow.

Winter Farmers’ Market @ MCL, Nov. 23rd: 9 am – 12 pm

Hosted at the library from 9 am – noon on the second and forth Saturdays of each month, the Mukwonago Winter Farmers’ Market offers local organic fruits, vegetables, baked goods, jams, cider, honey, soups, and more. Presented by the Mukwonago Area Chamber of Commerce.

Bluegrass Jam: Dec. 23rd, 6 pm – 9 pm

Join our semi-regular troop of local musicians who jam to the tunes of traditional bluegrass, country and “old-time” mountain music. Stop by just to listen a while or bring your acoustic instrument and join in. This event is fun, free, and open to everyone.
