The Battle for Woman Suffrage: May 23rd @ 6 pm

In honor of the 100th anniversary of Wisconsin ratifying the 19th amendment, author and Professor Dr. Bob Kann will share tales of Wisconsin natives Belle La Follette and Carrie Catt, and other amazing stories of the courage, perseverance, and political savvy to win the vote.

Get Published! How to Write and Market Your Novel: May 21st @ 6 p.m.

In this workshop, published author Eric Schlehein will cover topics such as idea conception, character development, writing dialogue, developing plot, researching the publishing industry, agents, query letters, publishing houses, handling rejection, contracts, and marketing.
