Material Donations

The Library accepts donations of books, DVDs, and CDs in new or gently-used condition. The Library does NOT accept donations of ordinary non-collection items such as paintings, art objects, decorations, or furniture.

Small donations are accepted during the library’s open hours. Due to space limitations, please notify the Library in advance to arrange a large donation (more than one box).

Library staff screen all donated materials for potential addition to the library’s collections. Materials not suitable for inclusion in our collection may be added to the library’s book sale or used as prize incentive for a reading program.

For more information on donated items, please see our Materials Selection Policy

We are unable to assess the value of donated materials for tax purposes. We will give you a receipt that serves as the acknowledgment of your gift.
