The Friends of the Mukwonago Community Library is a member-driven, 501(c)3 non-profit organization the supports and promotes the Mukwonago Community Library. Activities include raising funds to provide library materials and services, advocating for the library and volunteering to assist with special events such as the summer reading program. The Friends are caring individuals committed to ensuring that the Mukwonago Community Library continues to thrive and meet the needs of the community by supporting programs, materials, and enhancements to the library that enrich its services. Our main fund raisers include:
- Midnight Magic & Cookies by the Pound Bake Sale
- Annual Rummage Sale (if you are looking to drop-off items for the 2nd Annual Rummage Sale, which is to be held the Saturday, July 21st, 2018 – please contact Kathy Conrad at 262-392-4015. The library will NOT accept donations without an appointment being made through the Friends of the Library.)
Funds are also raised for the library through the AmazonSmile program. Amazon donates a portion of sales from people who select the Mukwonago Library as their charitable organization of choice. Click the button below to start shopping!
Some of our volunteer activities include:
- Assisting with the children’s and adult reading programs and events
- Shelf reading
- Community involvement with Fall Fest, Halloween festivities, Midnight Magic and other Chamber or civic group supported events
