Conveniently fit the Library into your schedule and utilize our contactless smart lockers to pick up your holds 24/7!

How It Works:

  1. Place a hold and select "Mukwonago Locker Pickup" as your pickup location
  2. When your items are ready, you'll get an email or text with an access code
  3. Head to the lockers outside the Library, enter your code, and your locker pops open
  4. Grab your items and go!

It's that simple. Whether it's early morning before work or late evening after activities, your holds are waiting whenever you need them.

Important Details:

  • Pickup location must be selected when placing the hold – items can't be moved from the inside shelf to lockers
  • The Thingery items and Lucky Day items are not available for smartlocker pickup
  • Items may not be available immediately after placing a hold
  • You have 5 days to pick up your items before they're returned to the shelf
  • A$5.00 fee will be charged if items aren't picked up within 5 days
  • Items are checked out to you once placed in the locker and become your responsibility
  • You can share your access code with someone else to pick up for you
  • Report any damage to items immediately upon pickup

Responsibility for the choice and use of library materials by children rests with their legal parent(s)/guardian(s). Therefore, no borrowing restrictions are placed on children once they have obtained their legal parent’s/guardian’s signature on the library application. Parent(s)/legal guardian(s) of minors may check their child’s account at any time by logging into the Café Catalog on a computer or via the app.

Return items to any Bridges Library System member library. Some specialty items (like Thingery items and Explore Passes) must be returned to Mukwonago Community Library at the Circulation Desk. Explore Passes may be returned in the bookdrop.

Most items can be renewed 3 times for the same loan period, unless another patron has placed a hold on the item. Thingery items cannot be renewed. Interlibrary loan renewals are at the discretion of the lending library.

Accounts are blocked when you have $10.00 or more in fines/fees, or 5 or more overdue items. Return overdue items or pay fees to restore checkout privileges.
