MHS Movie Screening: The Rise and Fall of an American Spy

The Mukwonago Historical Society (MHS) has approved sponsoring/hosting public showings of a docudrama about a real Cold War spy, titled The Rise and Fall of an American Spy by East Troy resident, Gary Cox. The historic documentary will be co-hosted by the Mukwonago Community Library and will be shown in the Community Room. 

Wednesday's viewing will be the 1-hour version of The Rise and Fall of an American Spy, a documentary movie in two parts covering the true story of Cold War spy, Werner Juretzko. Juretzko was a man from Silesia, a historic section of Poland, who became caught up in the N.A.T.O. defense against the threat of a possible Soviet invasion of Western Europe and the communists’ covert intervention into Western European countries during the 1950s Cold War conflict.
