Kathie Giorgio

Kathie Giorgio is the author of eight novels, two story collections, an essay collection, and five collections of poetry. Awards include Pushcart Prize nominations in fiction and poetry, the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Wisconsin Library Association (The Home for Wayward Clocks), and the Pencraft Award for Literary Excellence (In Grace's Time and If You Tame Me). Her short fiction and poetry have been published in numerous literary journals, incorporated in art exhibits and performed on stage by Stories on Stage in Boulder, Colorado. She is the founder and director of AllWriters’ Workshop and Workplace, a creative writing studio based in Waukesha, Wisconsin offering classes for writers in all genres and abilities. Her most recent novel, Don’t Let Me Keep You, was released in October 2024. Her new poetry collection, The Birth of a Widow, is forthcoming in Winter 2026.
