Tour the remarkable life and achievements of Increase Lapham, Wisconsin’s first botanist, geologist, meteorologist—and more, with authors Martha Bergland and Paul G. Hayes, authors of the book “Studying Wisconsin: The Life of Increase Lapham.” A book-signing will follow.
The library is partnering with the MHS Key Club to raise awareness of the importance of clean drinking water around the world. In addition to a fundraising walk, the library will feature a themed story time and children’s Earth Day station activities. Everyone is welcome!

The Purple Springs Memory Cafe is an informal, social gathering intended for those living with early-stage memory loss and their care-partner. Try your hand at fun activities with cookies, marshmallows, spaghetti, and chocolate, during this “Chocolate Olympics.” Light refreshments will be provided.
