MetaSpace 511 at MCL is the perfect place for you to work on that special project, take a class on a new craft, or just get creative. We have the varied tools, supplies, and resources you’ll need for a wide gamut of different creative “Do-It-Yourself” endeavors.   

Classes and Programs

We offer a wide variety of programs and classes on all things “crafty.” Our very popular Adult DIY Craft series is taught by the library’s own Terry B. and just a sampling of topics include:

  • DIY Wine Glass Wind Chimes
  • DIY T-shirt Scarves
  • DIY Pallet Painting
  • DIY Hand-stitched Holiday Garlands
  • DIY Fabric Gnomes
  • DIY Wrap Bracelets
  • and many more

Classes are always free and supplies are always provided, but due to their popularity, classes fill-up fast. Be sure to check our online event calendar for upcoming dates.

Tools and Supplies

In addition to outstanding classes and programs like Zentangle and Adult Coloring, we also have the tools and materials you need to work with the projects you bring in including:

  • Cricut Machine
  • Regular and patterned scissors
  • Paper cutters

  • Pens, pencils, and markers
  • Rulers
  • Hole punchers

  • and more 

How Do I Take Advantage of All These Great Resources?

There are two ways to use the crafting tools and resources MCL offers:

  1. Through a library-led program. Be sure to checkout our online calendar for upcoming programs. 
  2. By making a reservation in MetaSpace 511. Visit or call the Information Desk at (262) 363-6411 to schedule your time slot for up to three hours.
